Life in General

Changes

It’s part of life. Over the years maturity changes us—our hearts, minds, opinions, habits, likes and dislikes. Even a fictional character’s life should change (but more on that in my next post).

For now, this is a season of growth for young adults. Whether you’ve graduated from high school or college, whether you’re looking forward to another four years of higher education or looking for a job, life will no longer be as you have known it. Fun, friends and responsibilities change. Futures are determined by the decisions you make—not the ones your parents have made for you.

Seek Wise Counsel

Prior to making those potential life changing decisions or seeking the opinions of your peers, commit to memory Proverbs 3:5-8—make them your words to live by and your decisions will be sound.

To all the graduates of 2010

Congratulations and may you seek God’s best for your futures!
