In the Stack

In The Stack

Sometimes I think my eyes will cross with all the reading I do. But I love it. It’s so relaxing. Every once in a while, I take stock of the books waiting for me to open their covers, or in the case of Kindle, tap the screen. So, here’s a list of what I have in my stack today.

A Man to Trust by Carrie Turansky – I’m in the middle of this new Love Inspired novel that comes out in February. Stay tuned. I’ll let you know how it is later.

The Lady of Bolton Hill by Elizabeth Camden – Since reading The Rose of Winslow Street (reviewed yesterday), I’m anxious to start this one.

Journey’s End – I’m really looking forward to reading this book by my friend Dora Hiers. It’s the first in her series.

Book of Days by James L. Rubart – I loved Rooms, so I jumped at the chance to download this one.

A Heart Revealed by Julie Lessman – I’ve never read any of Julie’s books, but look forward to this.

The Homecoming by Dan Walsh – Again, an author I’ve never read, but his books have done well.

Maid to Match by Deanne Gist – I’ve read most of her books and she’s one of my favorites. I particularly like A Bride Most Begrudging and The Measure of a Lady.

A Simple Amish Christmas by Vanetta Chapman – This is another download from Amazon. I’ve never read Amish fiction, never had much interest, but thought I’d give it try with this one.

Love’s Pursuit by Siri Mitchell – I love the cover and have heard she’s an awesome writer.

So, what’s in your stack to be read?

By the way, I have no material connection to any of these books.

A lot of these are on mine as well. I love the free books they give you on Kindle, but it’s making my to-read list VERY long! Still, I can’t resist!

    Sandra,
You will love Julie Lessman’s books. In fact, once you read “A Heart Revealed” you will want to go back and read the entire Daughters of Boston series.

I have so many books in my stack on on my Kindle, this post would be 6 inches long by the time I finished listing them all!

I’m currently reading a book, “When You’re Down to Nothing, God is Up to Something” by Robert Schuler, Jr. I have to write a review of the book for FaithWords, a division of The Hatchette Group.

I’m a little surprised because I’ve found the book to be very good – he makes excellent teaching points.
