Running Off the Turkey

Did everyone get their (over)fill of the Thanksgiving meal?

Now, it’s time to participate in Black Friday, when I’ll run off the turkey, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie and do my part to stimulate the economy.

Have a great weekend y’all!

My daughter and I left my house at 2:50 AM today – headed for Belk’s. Unbelievable crowds – grabbing boots without even looking at them first, breaking in line, etc. I didn’t get anything there; Kim did get a pair of boots but not the ones she really wanted. We were at Bath & Body Works at 4AM – more success there. Purchased stocking stuffers for the girls and 2 candles and holders for me. Back home by 4:30 and haven’t left the house since then, 🙂

2:50 A.M.?!!! Ahhh!! I am not that dedicated. Daughter went to Walmart at 10:00 Thursday for a couple of DVDs she wanted. Otherwise, we left the house at 8:00 Friday morning and didn’t get back until 9:00 that night. Kohl’s is the only place that had really good deals. Mall didn’t have much, except I did see a lot of Bath and Body Works shopping bags. Unfortunately, daughter lost her cell phone at our last stop last night. Ugh!!!
